Blessed Beginnings Preschool is a ministry of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.Our mission is to make early disciples of Jesus Christ by  encouraging the spiritual, academic, social, and physical development of each child in the framework of God’s love. Print out a brochure.

Blessed Beginnings offers classes for 2 through 5 year olds. School hours are 9:45am-2:45pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and/or Fridays. Consider BB Preschool for your child in 2013-2014.

There is a $50.00 non refundable enrollment fee for each child. Children must have turned two before September 1, 2014 to enroll. Please print out the enrollment form and the tuition form and complete each one to enroll your child.

An enrollment Form and Tuition Agreement must be completed at the time of enrollment.  A current copy of each child’s immunization record is also required. Download a copy of the required forms here:

Fill out the forms completely, include a copy of the immunization record and a check for $50 and mail or bring to St. Andrews UMC, 2727 SW 119th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73170. Please mail to the attention of Heather Ward.

Monthly tuition for Blessed Beginnings is:

  • $ 95.00 for the one-day program
  • $155.00 for the two-day program
  • $205.00 for the three-day program

This amount is due the first school day of each month, beginning in September and ending in May. A $15 late fee may apply if not paid by the 10th of the month.

Each day children will participate in a variety of teacher planned and child initiated activities.  The curriculum is theme based and  includes; music, learning centers, Bible stories, sign language, letter of week, outdoor play,  arts and crafts, and physical fitness. Academic lessons will include numbers, letters, colors and shapes.  Our three and four year olds will be taught the manuscript-style writing.

Each day children will participate in a variety of teacher planned and child initiated activities. The curriculum is theme based and includes:

  • Science
  • Shapes
  • Health/Safety
  • Craft

Our small class sizes are designed to better meet the needs of individual children. The student/ teacher ratio is 10:2 (5:1) for our youngest and 16:2 (8:1) for our oldest children. Our specialty classes include:

  • Busy Bodies - PE Program developing balance, coordination and teamwork.
  • Music - teaching rhythm, instruments and songs
  • American Sign Language - focusing on alphabet, numbers, manners and instructions.
  • Chapel - High energy, interactive “kid’s church” where Bible stories come alive.

We also enjoy celebrating many theme days at school including:

Children will also attend chapel each day.  Students will come together to sing songs, recite pledges to the American and Christian flag, and to the Bible. They will also hear a short Bible story and recite the Lord’s prayer.

Children are asked to pack a lunch each day. Children will also take turns bringing a healthy snack to share with the class on a rotating schedule.  Each class will have two parties throughout the year. One in the fall and one in the spring. Student Handbook
