Our Teachers

Our teachers are all CPR and First Aide certified and have undergone background checks. Our teachers have been trained in:

* Arts & Crafts for Preschoolers
* Sensory Table Integration
* Health & Safety

Blessed Beginnings has two scheduled parent/ teacher conferences during the school year. However, teachers are always available to discuss progress and concerns.

Loralie Ashton - I was born and raised in a Christian home; have never doubted or questioned God’s existence, but always trusted in his presence and promise.  I have been married to my husband for 19 years and have been blessed with 2 precious children; Zackary is 8 and Morgan is 6.  “Family “ is my main hobby and what I loves spending my spare time doing.  This will be my fourth year to teach 2 and 3 year olds.  My adventures have been a blessed journey- reaping grand rewards and relations.  I rely fully on God’s guidance and feel it is a great privilege to have the opportunity to care for God’s own.

Deborah A. Peters--- Hello, everyone! I am so excited to see what God has in store for us this year. My name is Deborah A. Peters but everyone calls me ‘Abby’. I was privileged in being a part of Blessed Beginnings last year and I am so looking forward to this upcoming year. I have been working with children professionally for 5 years and I know that this is where God wants me to be. I’m a southern girl,
for the most part, from down home Alabama. My dad Pastors a church there. My parents have taught me, at a young age, to have a personal relationship with God. I’m a big family girl, so it was hard at first to move away from all the people I love. But, I’m so very glad I followed God’s lead. He has shown me so many new and amazing experiences. I have met many wonderful people. I look forward to getting to know all my new students and the people that are a part of their life. I pray that this coming year will be a blessed one! P.S. Wiggly Worms Class

Virginia Richmond - My name is Virginia Richmond from the Busy Bees class. I am married to Charles. We have three grown children---Becca, Kylie and Beau. We also have six wonderful grandchildren. I grew up in Dallas. I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BSE, and yes,I am a real live longhorn. While this is my second year at Blessed Beginnings, I have taught pre-school for over twenty years. I am excited to be working, once again, with such a dedicated group of women. April Claybaugh - Hello, my name is April Claybaugh. I have been married 12 years to my husband, Aaron. We have three wonderful children, Mallory, Jacob and Morgan. I am a member of First Christian Church of Moore and have been a member there for over 20 years with the exception of the two years we spent in Kentucky. I enjoy reading, scrapbooking and spending time with my family! This is my first year of teaching at Blessed Beginnings and I am so excited that God has lead me down this path! Deb Bein - Hi, my name is Deb Bein.  I have been married to my husband, Pete, for 38 years.  We have two adult children, Jennifer and Keith, and two grandchildren, Sean (17) and Alex (10).  I was born and raised in California, spent the next 28 years accompanying my husband on 20 moves during his Air Force career, and finally settled in Oklahoma 8 years ago.  I have taught preschool for many years and in many different places.  I love children and I love teaching and feel extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of Blessed Beginnings Preschool.  In my free time I love to “play” with my grandchildren, hike, canoe, read, cook, and travel with my husband.  If you have any questions please e-mail me at debein1@cox.net.

Laura Martens - My name is Laura Martens and I am very excited to be a part of Blessed Beginnings Preschool. I have been married for 11 years and have two beautiful daughters: Kaitlyn (9) and Alyssa (6). I have been an "Okie" all my life and have lived in Oklahoma City the past 26 years. I love being a wife and mother, traveling, and spending time with my family and our two dogs. I enjoy spending time at the lake, riding bikes, and doing anything that makes my kids happy. I enjoy volunteering for dog rescue organizations, and was one of the co-founders of Great Plains Mastiff Rescue in 2005. I have worked as a Patient Services Coordinator and Certified Professional Coder in a physicians' office for 16 years before having my first child. I first attended St. Andrews in 2001 when we moved to Lakeridge. I knew from Alyssa's first year at Blessed Beginnings that there was something special happening with this program. She has grown and learned so much in those three years. I have wanted to be a part of it since I am currently pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Development-inspired by the wonderful things I see happening in Blessed Beginnings. I am looking forward to having the privilege of spending time with your children in the upcoming year and helping them grow in academics and values. Amber Seaton: My name is Amber Seaton and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this yearI have been married to my husband, Matt, for 9 years.  I am the mother of three children: Gabe (7), Ryan (5), and Kate (3).   All three of my children have attended Blessed Beginnings and I have been so pleased with the results.  I have worked in the childcare industry for over 10 years.  I have always loved working with children.   I taught at Blessed Beginnings the first year it opened and enjoyed it so much!  I took some time off when I had my daughter and have decided now since she’s a little older it was time to come back.  And I am so excited to be here!   I am looking forward to a great year!  If you have any questions please feel free to email me at AMSeaton81@gmail.com

Robin Wohletz - I am a Dental Hygienist who God repurposed into a wife, mom and preschool teacher. I have been married to Doug for 13 years and we have 3 wonderful (most of the time) kids, Avery is 9 and a 4th grader at Eastlake Elementary, Ethan is 6 and is a 1st grader also at Eastlake and Owen is 3 and is attending Blessed Beginnings. I have always had a connection to Blessed Beginnings; children attending, substituting and watching teachers kids, and now finally have the great opportunity to be here teaching. Amy Ethridge - Hello! My name is Amy Ethridge. My husband, Scott, and I have been married for 14 years. We have three children: Sabrina (11), Brody (10) and Fischer (5). After a short time in Texas our family moved back to OKC in 2007. I enjoy reading, running and scrapbooking. I especially enjoy spending time with my family and watching all the sports and activities they are a part of. I am thrilled to be teaching music for a second year at Blessed Beginnings.
